Oklahoma!
We were fortunate enough to be commissioned by the brilliant people at Sonia Friedman Productions to create opening night gifts for the cast and crew of their West End production of Oklahoma!
We worked closely together to create these small, birch plywood candle holders. The design of these was inspired by the artwork used on the back wall of the stage, and also featuring the shows main logo.
We individually laser cut and assembled 95 of these gifts, before packaging and hand delivering them to the client.
Manchester City Academy.
On this job, we were asked to provide Manchester City Academy with 100 water bottles for everyone going through their youth academy. The brief was that they must be blue bottles to be in keeping with their iconic team colours, and also feature their world famous logo. After a few practice runs to make sure we were getting the engrave intensity just right, we were able to produce these bottles very quickly and ship them off to the client.
Requiem in motion.
Working alongside the English National Opera and Gideon Berger Studios, we created these luxury invitations for an event launch for a new production they are working on. The production in question has a design solely based around concrete, so we wanted to reflect that aesthetic in these invitations.
The birch plywood boxes were all hand assembled with a locking layer to keep everything in place. The invitations were made of a slate which we then sprayed to take on the appearance of concrete. This provided us with the look we required, whilst giving us a lot more strength in a product of this size. The details were then laser engraved directly onto the slate, giving us the finished invitations.
We were thrilled with how these turned out, as was the client.
Bonnie and Clyde.
Another West End musical we were able to partner with was Bonnie and Clyde. The folks at DLAP were after opening night gifts for their productions press night at the Garrick Theatre, transferring from the Arts Theatre. Using the widely recognised artwork for the show, we were able to design, engrave and deliver 85 bottles to their offices in Covent Garden. Every bottle was personalised with the recipients name above the logo, which is a service we offer at no extra cost.
